Realizing the exiting potential in the Supermarket Chain Industry, in the year 1997, Transind Company Management decided to open a class ‘A’ supermarket in Qatar and it was another feather of success in Company’s history. 'Food Palace' stands in the ‘A’ class level of retail outlets in Qatar and now 'Food Palace' has two outlets, one at Musherib and the other at Al Sadd. There are about 80 staffs working in Food Palace. Apart from the Supermarket items, there are separate sections for meat, Bakery delicatessens, fruits, vegetables and also for fresh fishes. ‘Food Palace’ introduced an innovative concept of “Profit Redemption Card” to its privileged customers, wherein customers are eligible to earn back 10% of the profit generated from the cash purchase made by them, which could be redeemed by purchasing any products from Food Palace outlets. This value buy scheme attracted lot many customers to ‘Food Palace’ and customer survey has proved it as a very satisfying and pleasing factor of attraction for all its valued customers. There are around three thousand loyal card members for ‘Food Palace’ with lot other members being added up regularly.
